Stand up for Labour - Brighton Labour Party Conference
Stand up for Labour holds its seventh show at the Labour Party Conference, taking place at the Komedia comedy club in the heart of Brighton (44-47 Gardner St, Brighton BN1 1UN).
The night features:
Njambi McGrath is this year's winner of the prestigious Hackney Empire New Acts of the Year. She has gone down a storm at Stand up for Labour shows in Stevenage, Stafford, Southampton and Liverpool.
Don Biswas is a young political comedian making waves in the comedy world. His show at Edinburgh revieved rave reviews and he has appeared on BBC Asian Network. A Labour Party member, he was very well received at Stand up for Labour shows in Basildon, Covent Garden and Maidstone.
Tosh McDonald will be holding a special Democracy Roadshow, which has caused a rumpus all over the country.
Norman Lovett has been one of this country's leading comedians for over 30 years and has the claim to fame of warming up for both 'The Clash' and Jeremy Corbyn. As well as being well-known for appearing in Red Dwarf, he has appeared at dozens of Stand up for Labour shows.
The compere for the night is Crispin Flintoff, who will be rewarding new and longer standing members of the party as well as conducting a raffle and a short quiz.
