Stand up for Labour - Watford, 8th November (7:30pm), Earlybird tickets
A fantastic line up headlined by Patrick Monahan
Stand up for Labour returns to Watford for a show at the William Morris Labour Club (Henbury Way, South Oxhey, Watford WD19 7AP) featuring three of our favourite comedians.
Opening act Steve Day is the country’s only deaf comedian and has been performing at the UK’s top comedy clubs for over 15 years. His mix of anecdotes and gags has made him a favourite of Stand up for Labour audiences.
Gráinne Maguire is not only a talented stand-up comedian who is always writing new topical jokes, but she is also a political commentator - as seen on shows like ‘Question Time’ and ‘Daily Politics’.
Headline act Patrick Monahan is one of best live comedians on the circuit. He seems to have been born with a talent to judge any room he plays and his hilarious interactive comedy has gone down a storm at Stand up for Labour shows all over the country. Patrick won ITV1's 'Show me the Funny' competition and has since appeared on various TV shows. He is also a popular panto performer but he's not doing panto this year!
The evening is hosted by Crispin Flintoff, who set up Stand up for Labour in 2012 to raise money and morale in the party and has now organised over 250 shows all over England, Scotland and Wales.
There will also be liquid prizes and a raffle plus plenty of time to catch up with comrades.
